Caesar Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 big lemon
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Let’s prepare
In a food processor add the mayo (2 tbsp), the Dijon mustard (2 tbsp), the garlic cloves (2), 1/4 of the juice from the lemon (1/2 lemon), the salt (1/2 tsp) and the black pepper (1/2 tsp). Mix very well until you get a nice creamy substance.
Slowly start adding the olive oil (1 tbsp), while still mixing.
In the end, add the Parmesan cheese – it could be grated or shaved, and mix for another 30 seconds.
*There are many variations of the Caesar sauce that you could find online. And, of course, if you want your sauce more salty, more sour, or even a bit nippy, it is always possible to add more of this or more of that up to your liking.
Since products worldwide vary very much one from another, don’t be afraid if you have to put more or less of some of the ingredients.
