Greek Tzatziki Dip
Ingredients
- 2 cucumbers
- 400 g strained yogurt
- 100 g sour cream
- 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp white pepper powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pinch red pepper powder
- fresh dill
- olive oil
Let’s prepare
First off, peel the cucumbers (2) – especially if they are not home-grown and bought from a supermarket – trust us – and then dice them finely.
Mix the strained yogurt (400 g) with the sour cream (100 g). Add the chopped vegetable and the garlic powder (1 1/2 tsp), the white pepper powder (1 tsp), and the salt (1 tsp).
Serve in a bowl (preferably a blue one, since it reminds us very much of Greece). Make it look beautiful adding a spiral of olive oil, some fresh dill around and a pinch of red pepper powder.
You can adjust the herbs and their quantity up to your taste. A traditional product to add is mint, but we prefer it the way we described it.
